Description

Celnat Type 130 Rye Flour has a slightly sweet taste that goes very well with cake recipes and is one of the ingredients in traditional gingerbread.

Indication

Rye originates from the Middle East, but prefers cold climates. It is a biennial plant of the Secale genus belonging to the Poaceae (grass) family. Rye was only a late crop in itself.

Instructions for use

It is recommended to mix rye flour with wheat flour (type 80 or type 110) in a ratio of 60-40 (60% rye flour and 40% wheat flour), to obtain a leavened dough.
